At the time of seeing in the world and studying of the historical books as we have known that when the people began to go astray from the way of the right path Allah started sending the Prophets in the world to guide them, who guided them to the right Parth but when they came with the miracles of Allah people bigan to rebuke, mock, insult and deny them as Allah said at different places in the Holy Quran
كَذَّبَتۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٍ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ
(١٠٥)
إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ (١٠٦)
إِنِّى لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ۬ (١٠٧)
فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ
The people of Nooh denied the Nobel messenger. When their fellowman Nooh said to them, do not fear? I am indeed a trustworthy normal messenger of Allah to you.
And as Pharaoh (Firon) sad about Moses (Moosa) وَإِنِّى لَأَظُنُّهُ ۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَـٰذِبِينَ according to me he is indeed a liar.
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسَحَّرِينَ they said; you are under a magic spell.
Because the respect of the Holy prophets is obligatory and their insult is Kufr so Allah almighty taught them to respect the Prophets. So by accepting the invitation of the prophets and honouring them some people were saved while some other rejected the invitation and humiliated them they deserved the punishment Allah said in the Holy Quran:
وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ لَٮِٕنِ ٱتَّبَعۡتُمۡ شُعَيۡبًا إِنَّكُمۡ إِذً۬ا لَّخَـٰسِرُونَ (٩٠)
فَأَخَذَتۡہُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِى دَارِهِمۡ جَـٰثِمِينَ
and the disbelieving leaders of his people said if you obey Shoaib you will indeed be in a loss therefore the earthquake seized them so at morning they're maimed lying flattened their houses.
هُدً۬ى وَبُشۡرَىٰ لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Guidance and glad tidings for the believers.
This means that for those who accepted the invitation of the prophet and follow the Holy Quran for them it is is the guidence and good news which will save them from the punishment.
When it is obligatory to honour the prophets and to avoid humiliation of the Prophets then we must now what is respect?
Respect means regard something high to honour something or to have reverence to something be it be the tongue or by an action therefore every low person will have respect for someone who is high in status and will Express his respect by any means. A student will respect his teacher a child will respect his parents a Slave will respect his master and even a younger brother will have respect for his elder brother.
Because respect of the Holy Prophet Muhammad peace and blessing upon him is very important for the Muslims and that it is pillar of Imaan (Faith) therefore its and it's stress have been mentioned many times in the Holy Qur'an.
Allah forbided the use of the word in the prophets glory which is shared between honour and contempt as when Yahoodi (Jewish) started to call the holy Prophet by word Raina which was used to be derogatory their dictionary some intention and some word used Sahab e Kiram used to honour the holy prophet when they were unable to understand something said Ya Rasool Allah Raina please repead it again but Allah forbided both of them to use call the Prophet by this word and ordered to take another word instead of it as Allah said:
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَقُولُواْ رَٲعِنَا وَقُولُواْ ٱنظُرۡنَا وَٱسۡمَعُواْۗ وَلِلۡڪَـٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ۬ (١٠٤)
People who believe do not say to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing be upon him) Raina but say Unzurna and listen attentively from the start and for the disbelievers is painful punishment.
And then Allah forbided them to call the Messenger as they call Each Other its means with name as it is in Holy Quran
لَّا تَجۡعَلُواْ دُعَآءَ ٱلرَّسُولِ بَيۡنَڪُمۡ كَدُعَآءِ بَعۡضِكُم بَعۡضً۬اۚ
Trade not calling of the Messenger among yourselves in the same way as you call one another.
Hadrat Abu Mohammed Makkhi writes do not call the prophet with his name like you do to each other but respect him by calling Ya Rasool Allah (O Allah's messenger) or any other way he please.
Surprisingly Allah insists on honouring the Prophet but some people are are trying to insult the prophet the name of explaining of truth even althought they are so know that the prophet's insult is Kufr. As wrote Ismail Dehelvi in his different books insulting words (who is named Mohammed or Ali does not own anything)
So we should love the prophet and hate his Enemies and always be ready to To sacrifice on him. May Allah keep us alive in love of his Prophet and die in love of the prophet Ameen
